New Global CEO for CREMER OLEO
CREMER OLEO announces Pierre Perez y Landazuri as its new Global CEO. In this newly created position, Perez y Landazuri is responsible for the strategic direction and business development of our global, family-owned business, that specializes in the trade and transport of oleochemicals.
With extensive international experience in Europe, Asia and the USA, Pierre boasts a global perspective and a broad background in the food, feed, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. He has worked across continents in a variety of senior management roles for companies extracting functional products from natural raw materials. Additionally, he has successfully led and transformed several large international organizations and is committed to fostering a positive, inclusive and customer-focused working culture that encourages collaboration and excellence.
Most recently, Pierre served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Global Specialties and President of Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) for US food and beverage ingredient firm Ingredion. Prior to that, he held senior positions at CP Kelco, J.M. Huber, Hercules, BASF and Rohm and Haas.
Pierre will lead CREMER OLEO's international management team from the company's headquarters in Hamburg, Germany. The European Executive Board of Julian Brandt, Malte Kroll and Benedikt Schoneweg will continue to be responsible for CREMER OLEO's European business. Pierre will also work closely with Andrew Aylwin, CREMER OLEO’s Chief Operating Officer, and Ademir dos Santos, CREMER OLEO’s Chief Financial Officer who are jointly responsible for CREMER OLEO’s business in North America and Latin America (LATAM).
